Green Talk / Outreach Working Group

Green Talks: Informal meetings of the GPSC take place on the first Thursday of each month, at the monthly “Green Talk.” These are fun and informative gatherings with discussion topics or presentations on a different topic each month. If you’re looking for a way to meet other Greens, get to know more about the Green Party and Green Party issues, or get involved, this is a great way to start.

The Green Talk / Outreach Working Group organizes discussions, presentations, and other informal events that provide people with an attractive and energizing avenue to get involved in local, regional, state, and national Green politics. The group meets every 2nd Thursday of each month.

Outreach:

“Tabling” is a mainstay of grassroots organizing. Typical tabling activities include registering people to vote, gathering petition signatures, educating voters on upcoming campaigns, and inviting people to become involved in Green activism. The Green Talk / Outreach Working Group is responsible for coordinating supplies, volunteers, and venues for tabling.
