ELECTION NEWS
Many thanks to Sonoma County Greens who supported local Green
candidates and issues. Congratulations to Sam Pierce and Craig Litwin
for their successful elections to the Sebastopol City Council. Also
important was the defeat of Proposition 62 which would have been
disastrous for our party.

GREEN TALK - A Victory and the GPSC Future - December 2
7:00 PM at the Environmental Center of Sonoma County
404 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa
Newly elected Sebastopol City Council member, Sam Pierce will start
our discussion with a brief presentation about his victory. We will
all follow with informal talk about what the GPSC Future might be.
Cookies and admission are free, but we will pass the hat for the rent.
Everyone is welcome. Come and bring a friend. Help us shape our
future!
Green Talks are free, thought provoking informal gatherings hosted by
the Green Party of Sonoma County on the first Thursday of each month.

TWO COUNTY COUNCIL POSITIONS FILLED!
At the November 18th General Meeting, Jared Laiti was elected to fill
one of the two open seats. Justin Whitaker returned and was reseated
on the County Council. Welcome Jared and Justin (again).
The seven member Council serves as the elected representative body of
the GPSC. The Council’s mission is to empower members and locals in
Green political activity in Sonoma County. The Council serves to
promote the Ten Key Values of the Green Party of California in all its
actions and statements.
To be a member of the Council you must be a person residing in Sonoma
County with a valid voter registration in the Green Party.

WEB LINKS RELATED TO THE GREEN PARTY'S TEN KEY VALUES

There are ten key values that guide the Green Party. Here are a few of
many possible links to information about some activities that
implement those values. As the Green Party cannot do everything that
is needed on all the issues, Green Party members may wish to know
about these issues and support those that are of special interest. We
would welcome your suggestions for links that you would like to see
mentioned in another on-line GPSC newsletter or taken up at a Green
Talk (see Green Talk notice above).
